Fear the Turtle?

I really wanted to become an immediate Terrapin basketball fan. This is a team that consistently plays well, from one season to the next (unlike a certain black and gold Big 12 team I know...), and I'm really ready to root for a winner. So, I found it extremely ironic that the Terps - previously undefeated in this season - lost at the first game I attended. They beat the Illini a few weeks back, but played unbelievably sloppy ball against Notre Dameon Sunday during the BB&T Classic. Boo! On an up note, Chris and I got to hang out with Kevin and Erica for the tourney, along with some other Scholars alums. That pretty much makes up for it :)

Beyond the occasional outing to the Verizon Center (have I mentioned I attended a hockey game there a few weeks back? That was surprisingly a blast), life continues to be dominated by schoolwork and guilt over not accomplishing more work. I'm really looking forward to the end of the semester, so I can refocus and re-energize.

Until then, back to stats, papers, and manuals, oh my!
