Since several folks are still following along in the saga of Marybeth, I thought perhaps I at least owed y'all some sort of an update.
February was a short month, but high on stress. The beginning of March has been full of schoolwork. That said, some highlights have included seeing the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra perform while Savion Glover (choreographer of "Bring in da noise, bring in da funk") tap-danced. Chris, Vinnie, and I also went to GW University in D.C. to see comedian Zach Galifianakis, who was arguably so funny my face nearly fell off from laughing so hard. If you're unfamiliar with him - as I was prior to a few weeks back - you should check his stuff out on YouTube or his website.
Let's see, Chris and I also ventured just last weekend to the Philly Flower Show, where we met up with members of his family. At the top of the post is a pic of us with his mom. His mother's family owns a nursery in the Philadelphia area. The photo below is us with his aunt next to their booth in the show's marketplace. The theme for the show's exhibits was Ireland. It was really amazing to see the multitude of flowers in exhibits of all shapes and sizes. Above is an exhibit that looks like ruins of an old church. We also dined in Reading Terminal (a market near the convention center). Beyond our fun trip to Philly, Chris and I attended a fondue party with my cohort last weekend, I studied with my friend Kristan, and the CSP program hosted it's annual preview weekend for new admits. I'm excited to report that my Spring Break begins this week... I am very ready for some R&R and catching up on work I've put aside to tend to more immediate things.
On the whole things are good. Hope the same is true for my readers. And, I'm sorry you never hear from me anymore!
